Bry-Air Scales Atmospheric Water Systems
Bry-Air Air Water Generator systems range from 55 liters a day to modular units producing up to 1,600 liters an hour.

Bry-Air has introduced an Air Water Generator range spanning 55 liters per day to modular systems producing up to 1,600 liters an hour, or 14 million liters a year per system. The company is applying its adsorption and moisture-control technology to create decentralized water supplies from ambient air. Bry-Air reports that units have operated since 2022 in the 55 liters-per-day and 1,200 liters-per-day classes. Several units have also been installed in Alwar, Rajasthan, through the company’s CSR initiatives.
Systems From Offices To Industry
The range includes commercial units producing 55 to 200 liters a day for offices, remote sites and temporary camps. Semi-industrial systems produce 1,000 to 2,000 liters a day and are intended for manufacturing, hospitality, defense and urban infrastructure.
For larger applications, Bry-Air’s industrial-scale units are designed to produce 200 to 1,600 liters an hour. The company identifies data centers, island communities, remote industrial sites and high-value farming as intended uses for those systems.
Modular Production Capacity
The AWG uses adsorption technology to extract moisture from ambient air and convert it into water without relying on pipelines, borewells or water tankers. Bry-Air says its systems are engineered for diverse climatic conditions, including low-humidity, arid and semi-arid locations.
The 200-liters-per-hour unit in production can be stacked into systems producing up to 1,600 liters an hour. Bry-Air says its moisture adsorption engineering work and low dew point battery applications support the manufacture of nearly four engineered desiccant packages each day.
Decentralized Water Supply
The company has filed a patent for the AWG technology, first submitted in 2022, and reports 96 granted patents across its adsorption technology portfolio.
Deepak Pahwa, Chairman, Pahwa Group and Managing Director of Bry-Air (Asia), said:
“For more than six decades, Bry-Air has engineered technologies to control and manage moisture in air. With the AWG, we are applying that same depth of adsorption expertise in a new direction—extracting moisture from the atmosphere and converting it into a reliable source of water,”
Deepak Pahwa, Chairman, Pahwa Group and Managing Director of Bry-Air (Asia), said:
“Our installations in Alwar and NCR demonstrate how this technology can be deployed in the field, particularly in regions where access to conventional water sources is challenging. We see atmospheric water generation as an important part of decentralised water infrastructure for the future.”
